The collapsing US military & economic empire is making Washington & NATO even more dangerous. US could not beat the Taliban but thinks it can take on China-Russia-Iran...a sign of psychopathology for sure. We must all do more to help stop this western corporate arrogance that puts the future generations lives in despair. @BruceKGagnon

German college declares Palestinian students as 'stateless'

Palestinian students at Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg, Germany received an email from the school that they’ve been recategorized as “stateless” due to governmental “changes in the statistical requirements.” Germany no longer recognizes Palestinian as a nationality.

In response we should call the German government 'heartless'.

UAW leader denounces student arrests

Cops at UCLA attacked encampment

A couple nights ago LA cops stood back and watched as hundreds of zionists attacked the UCLA student camp with fireworks, bottles, sticks, pepper spray and beat many students.  25 students were taken to the hospital after these attacks.

Then the next night the cops themselves attacked.

Los Angeles has the largest Israeli population in the U.S.

Pressure on the U.S. from Israel and AIPAC has led to this scandalous national strategy to destroy the peaceful, non-violent effort by thousands of students across the nation who have been exercising their democratic rights of free speech and free assembly.

Well over 2,400 students have been arrested nationwide so far and the number grows by the day.

It goes to show the power of the Israeli lobby inside this country.

It also reveals the fascistic nature of the government we now have at the national, state and local levels.

This is not the time to remain silent as an ever so out-of-control police state will harm every level of society.

Our right to speak freely and publicly assemble is in grave danger.

To think you and your family can safely escape the impact of this crucial moment is a profound mis-reading of our current history.

Hungarian-Syrian discussion on the conflict in the Middle East and a just peace

Click on map for better view

Budapest, Tuesday, April 23, 2024

Ambassador Bashar Samarah, Head of Syria’s Diplomatic Mission to Hungary, and Endre Simó, President of the Hungarian Peace Community, discussed the conflict in the Middle East and the development of Hungarian-Syrian interstate relations.

At the meeting held at the Syrian Embassy in Budapest, it was established that while the Hungarian government supports Israel against the Palestinians, Syria considers the Palestinian resistance against Israel, which is occupying the territory of Palestine and the Syrian Golan Hights and parts of Lebanon, to be legitimate.

Just and lasting peace can only be achieved if Israel withdraws from the occupied Arab territories to the lines of June 4, 1967, and an independent, self-governing Palestinian state can be established, in accordance with UN resolutions.

Ambassador Bashar Samarah said that Israel’s attacks and assassinations against his country are countless. Damascus showed restraint towards them and practiced utmost self control because it wanted to avoid the conflict in the Middle East from widening and turning into a war, and that Israel is turning the region into a barrel of gunpowder.

Parts of Syria are occupied not only by Israel, but also by the United States and Turkey, who are plundering the Syrian natural resources and the Syrian people are even more suffering from the sanctions and unilateral coersive measures imposed by the United States and its western allies.

For more than 10 years Syria has been involved in the war on terrorism alone, while those who claim to fight terrorism are turning their backs to us. The Islamic Republic of Iran practiced its legal and legitimate right of self defence when it responded to the Israeli aggression agaisnt its consular premises in Damascus on April 1st  2024.

Endre Simó expressed his regret to the Syrian diplomat that the Hungarian government uncritically takes the side of Israel and considers the slaughter of more than 30,000 Palestinians in Gaza as Israel’s legitimate self-defense. The Peace Community condemns the terrorist attack committed by Hamas against the peaceful people of Israel on October 7 last year, and Israel’s response to it, the genocide in Gaza.

“With its unilateral pro-Israel policy, the Hungarian government is hindering the restoration of the rights of the Palestinian people. The Hungarian government should pursue a policy of peace not only in relation to Ukraine, but also in relation to the Middle East,” said Endre Simó.

The Syrian ambassador and the president of the Hungarian Peace Community agreed that the solution to the current crisis in Gaza begins with an immediate ceasefire, dialogue, and the end of the Israeli occupation.

Ambassador Samarah and the president of the Hungarian Peace Community considered it necessary to boost and improve the interstate relations between Syria and Hungary in various areas of life, for the benefit of their peoples. Endre Simó drew the Hungarian government’s attention to the strategic importance of Syria in the region.

Taiwan is part of China

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken went home with his tail between his legs after an official three-day visit to China in which he tried his very best to convince the world of a litany of nonsensical crap that neither he nor anyone else with a brain believes, including spouting the “over-capacity” myth that Yellen tried to start on her last visit, and trying to tell Beijing that Washington has some kind of right to decide who China can and cannot trade with.

This desperation and hypocrisy blatantly on show from U.S. leaders visiting China is a sign of one thing: the hegemony of the U.S.-led West is falling, and it’s a joy to watch!

Today we’ll talk about it. This is Reports on China, I’m Andy Boreham in Shanghai. Let’s get reporting.

May 2 massacre: Telling the story in Odessa, Ukraine

Regis Tremblay interviews Bruce Gagnon in 2016 outside the Trades Union Hall is Odessa, Ukraine.

Just three days before they were part of an international delegation (along with Phil Wilayto) that stood with the mothers of those killed inside the building by Nazi death squads.

The Nazi Azov Battalion would not let the huge crowd supporting the mothers near the building to lay flowers.

This video tells the sad and horrible story.

Report from International Environmental Forum in Crimea

Resolution: International Environmental Forum

"For our future"

April 25, 2024, Alushta, Republic of Crimea, Russian Federation

During the plenary session, we, the participants of the forum, received evidence of the purposeful infliction of environmental harm and damage by the Kiev regime to the Crimea, the Luhansk People's Republic, the Donetsk People's Republic, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of the Russian Federation.

Using the example of the Zaporizhia region, we see systemic provocations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant. These attacks repeatedly led to the de-energization of the NPP, damaged the cooling system, and damaged nuclear fuel storage facilities. In this regard, a real threat has repeatedly arisen that can lead to extremely negative consequences not only for the ecology of Russia, but also for European countries. The Kiev regime is trying to use political and environmental blackmail against both the Russian side and Europe, threatening an environmental disaster, justifying attempts by military action to regain control of an important nuclear facility. At the same time, despite the presence of the IAEA mission observers at the NPP, who have full information, including who is striking at Europe's largest nuclear power plant, they have never named their culprits, thereby encouraging the criminal actions of the Ukrainian side.

We condemn any provocative actions that create prerequisites for an environmental catastrophe on the continent.

We call on all sane forces, all like-minded people in the field of environmental safety to unite and stop the criminal actions of the Ukrainian authorities under the direct patronage of the collective West and the United States for the sake of life on Earth, so that Crimea, Donbass, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions do not become an environmental disaster zone.

Unfortunately, NATO's aggressive policy is also of extreme concern. The artificial creation of hot spots in different parts of the globe confirms the unwillingness of the collective West, led by the United States, to take care of the issue of preserving our planet. Instead of implementing relevant environmental programs, we are witnessing large-scale processes of militarization, which entails military conflicts that may ultimately endanger the existence of human civilization itself.

Realizing the devastating long-term consequences of the use of NATO depleted uranium ammunition, we believe that their use should be strictly prohibited, and those who used it and are using it should be punished as they deserve. Once again, we call on the international community to pay attention to the existing environmental problems mentioned above.

We call on all competent relevant structures to take full responsibility for preserving the ecological balance of the planet.

Zionists attack students at UCLA while cops just watch (2nd time)

Supporters of Israel have attacked a peaceful Palestine solidarity sit-in at the University of California in Los Angeles. They waved flags in support of Israel while beating student demonstrators with sticks. It's the latest escalation in two weeks of demonstrations at college campuses across the country.

Sergio Olmos, an investigative journalist reporting from the UCLA campus, arrived on the scene just after midnight (about 07:00 GMT). He told Al Jazeera that he witnessed several hundred counter-protesters trying to tear down walls set up by the pro-Palestine encampment. He described counter-protesters throwing projectiles at the encampment, trying to hit the pro-Palestine protesters with sticks and in some cases throwing glass bottles.

He also reported a number of minor injuries and significant amounts of pepper spray used.

Olmos said it remained unclear if the counter-protestors “have a unified message other than they are opposing the Palestinian demonstration”. He adds that it had been the counter-protesters who had instigated the violence against the pro-Palestine protest encampment.

“It wasn’t like they were both coming out to brawl. It wasn’t mutual combat,” he said. While the pro-Palestine protesters were in their encampment, the counter-protesters came out and “started trying to take down the camp and engage in brawls” with some of them setting off fireworks, Olmos said.

“This group of counter-protesters were really pushing for a fight,” he said.

He added that police arrived after more than an hour and “stood maybe a few hundred feet away, just watching for an hour”. “The brawl went on for about two hours without any police intervention.

Once the police decided to move in, the counter-protesters left,” Olmos said. He added that police are trying to clear the area outside the protest encampment and there have been no large-scale arrests on either side.

A different view of Putin & Russia

Amidst rising global tensions, the Ukraine conflict stands as a pivotal battleground, with the West and Russia engaged in a high-stakes standoff.

As diplomatic efforts intensify, a proposed peace summit looms on the horizon, aiming to address the crisis. However, with Russia's reluctance to participate, questions arise about the effectiveness of such initiatives.

In an exclusive interview with Kanwal Sibal, former Indian Ambassador to Russia, insights into the West's desperation to involve India in the summit are revealed.

Stay tuned as the world watches closely for the next move in this geopolitical chess game.
